The Toolbars

When we refer to any buttons in this help file, unless specified otherwise, they are the buttons that are located on the toolbar, in the main program window, as shown below:

Main Toolbar

Buttons in the Main toolbar
Opens a JPEG or BMP image.

Opens a Pano2exe Project file. Projects are saved as files with .p2e file extension and store the configuration for making an executable panorama.

Previews and allows adjusting the panorama size and position manually.
Saves the panorama as an executable file. See also Saving panoramas.
Sets the scrolling speed for the panorama. See also Advanced tab.
Sets the panorama size and zoom. You may specify the panorama size by specifying the width and height by value or by dragging the panorama window to set the desired size and position. To specify zoom values less than 100% you should always use this button.
Creates an installer to distribute one or more self-executable panoramas made with Pano2exe. See also Creating an installer for one or more self-panoramas.

The other program toolbar is located in the panorama window and is called the panorama toolbar. This toolbar and its buttons may be shown or hidden, according to the panorama settings.

Panorama Toolbar

Some buttons in the panorama toolbar have the same function and appearance than the similar ones in the main toolbar, so they will not be described again in the following table.

Buttons in the Panorama toolbar
Opens a panoramic image (with .pano file extension).

If this button shows the circular arrows the panorama scrolls automatically. Click it once to stop the scrolling, then it will show the single arrow image. When the panorama is not scrolling automatically, it may be moved to the left or right side by clicking and dragging the image.
If this button or the Panorama toolbar are hidden, the user can right-click the panorama to stop or start the automatic scrolling.

These two buttons set the automatic scrolling to the left or right, respectively.
This button saves the part of the panorama that is shown as a .bmp image file. If the image zoom is less than 100%, it will be saved with the current zoom, but if the zoom is more than 100% the image will be saved at 100% zoom.
This button shows either the Change7 copyright window or the file that the user set to be shown as About page (only the registered version can do that). The About page usually is an HTML page but also Word, Acrobat or any other kind of file may be used.
