Converting a panoramic image into a self-executable file

You should use some image stitching program to convert your pictures in one single panoramic picture, using cylindrical projection, before creating a self-executable panorama with Pano2exe.

Optionally you may want to read the fast start guide.

The first step is opening the image. Click the button and select a valid JPEG or .bmp image file. That will make visible all the program tabs (Main, Advanced, Images and Installer), as shown below.

The Main tab allows you to configure the basic options to convert any 360° JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg) or bitmap (.bmp) image into a self-executable panorama. Alternatively you can create panorama files with .pano file extension and link them with an executable panorama. See Saving images and Linking panoramas between them for related information.

When we refer to any buttons in this help file, unless specified otherwise, they are the buttons that are located on the toolbar, in the main program window, as shown below:

To read a button by button description of the toolbar click here.

Many other panorama options may be set by selecting them in the Options, Movement and Views menus.

To read a menu by menu description click here.

The Advanced, Images and Installer tabs control other options.
